What is life like for a carnival worker?

7 News spoke with seasoned veterans at the Jefferson County Fair on Tuesday.

We also caught up with one newbie, who joined Reithoffer Shows just two days ago. 

All of them said they enjoy their work, especially all of the traveling that's involved.

"It's very interesting. You meet different people," said Richard, a carnival worker who declined to give his last name.

The Reithoffer group arrived in Watertown Monday after a four hour trip from its last venue in New England.

The carnies had just hours to set up for the opening of the county fair.
