Three Arrested In Ogdensburg Drug Bust


Three people have been arrested in connection with the trafficking of crack cocaine, heroin and ecstasy in Ogdensburg.

The city police department, its Narcotics Enforcement Unit as well as the St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force raided an apartment at 322 King Street early Tuesday morning.

Arrested were:

- Fernando Johnson, alias "Free", age 36, of 1200 West Colvin Street, Syracuse
- Jessica Thomas, age 29, of 322 King Street, Apartment 1, Ogdensburg
- Eric Peets, age 26, of 322 King Street, Apartment 1, Ogdensburg

Johnson (pictured on the left) was charged with two felony counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Thomas and Peets (pictured in the center and right) were charged with felony counts of first-degree criminal nuisance and misdemeanor counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

According to police news release, Thomas and Peets went to Syracuse to recruit a street dealer to sell drugs in Ogdensburg.

The pair is also accused of using the King Street apartment for dealing drugs.

Thomas and Peets were allegedly in possession of crack cocaine.

Police said Johnson possessed crack and ecstasy.

All three were arraigned Tuesday afternoon and sent to the St. Lawrence County Jail.

Johnson was being held without bail, while Thomas and Peets were being held in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
