Thursday Morning Weather: Take A Break

Tools

North country, take a break.

After the wild weather ride of the last week, today should be relatively warm, quiet.

The forecast for the Watertown area: mostly cloudy, mild. A mix of rain and snow starts late tonight, could run through Friday afternoon.

The Lowville area has an almost identical forecast, although the high won't be quite as high - 36 instead of 40.

In St. Lawrence County, there's even less to talk about today, but take note of icing conditions predicted for Saturday.

In fact, Saturday is shaping up as our next big weather day, although "shaping up" is maybe unduly optimistic - at this point, forecasters are still unclear about whether we'll see rain, snow or feezing rain. We should know more later today.
