Two young men who were critically injured in an accident in the Town of Canton earlier this month have died.
Corey P. Deshane, 33, of Potsdam, died Wednesday evening at Fletcher-Allen Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont. (Corey DeShane's obituary.)
His passenger, Cody J. Tennant, age 21, of Ogdensburg, died Tuesday at the same hospital. (Cody Tennant's obituary.)
DeShane and Tennant were critically injured in an accident on the night of September 12, when their vehicle collided with another vehicle on county route 29. (More details in our earlier story here.)
Hours earlier, DeShane's brother, Christopher, was also involved in an accident. He was standing on Route 56, sheriff's deputies said, and the driver of a vehicle couldn't avoid striking him.
Christopher DeShane survived his injuries and was charged Wednesday with disorderly conduct.
