Traffic Patterns Changing For Route 3

The traffic pattern for Route 3 over the Black River between Huntington Street and Marble Street in Watertown will change on or about Monday, April 23. 

That's according to the state Department of Transportation.

At that time, motorists crossing the bridge will encounter alternating one-way traffic controlled by temporary signals.

The changed traffic pattern will allow crews to rehabilitate the deck of the Route 3 Bridge over Black River. 

The changes will likely be in effect through late fall.
