Troopers Post Online List Of Assault-Style WeaponsIn the days since the state Legislature approved New York's new, sweeping gun-control legislation, there have been many questions about what, exactly, has been banned. On their website, the state police have a list of assault-style weapons that must be registered under the law. Troopers caution the list is intended only as a guide and is not meant to be all-inclusive. Police say there could be other weapons that meet the law's definition of assault weapon.
