State police have identified the woman killed in Tuesday night's accident on Route 12 in Rossie.

Police said 31 year old Stacy Justice of Gouverneur was killed while riding in a car driven by her boyfriend.

Police said her boyfriend, 23 year old Dustin Maloy of Gouverneur, lost control of the car on a curve, and another car hit his on the passenger side.

Both Maloy and Justice were transported to E.J. Noble Hospital, where Justice was pronounced dead.

Maloy was treated for internal injuries and later transferred to University Hospital in Syracuse for further treatment.

Police said icy roads may have contributed to the crash.

According to Justice's family members, Justice recently moved to upstate New York from Mesquite, Texas.

The family also said she was the mother of four children and was predeceased by a fifth child.

Route 12 was reopened after being closed Tuesday night.
