Tupper Teen Charged In Child Sex Case

A Tupper Lake teenager remained jailed Friday on $10,000 bail after he allegedly made what police describe as "a sexually explicit pornographic video" involving an 11 year old child.

Tyler Larabie, 17, faces felony charges of using a child in a sexual performance and possessing a sexual performance by a child. He also was charged with misdemeanor forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child.

Tupper Lake village police said Larabie was the focus of an investigation that began in June when his personal computer was seized as part of an unrelated investigation. Police - with the help of the State Police Computer Crimes Unit - found video images of a child engaged in a sexual performance which the Larabie then participated in, police said.

Police would not say whether the child was a male or female but told 7 News more charges are possible if additional victims come forward.
