Two Watertown men have been accused in connection with a string of burglaries throughout Jefferson County.

State police say 30 year old Jedadiah Romeo was charged with two counts of third degree burglary.

Another man, 35 year old Aaron Netto, was arrested after police executed a search warrant at his Ridgeway Road home.

Police say they found property that had been stolen during several area burglaries. Netto, they say, was buying and selling stolen property, including items from Romeo.

Netto was charged with third degree criminal possession of stolen property.

They were both arraigned in Watertown town court. Romeo is in Jefferson County jail and Netto was released after paying bail.

Netto is a state Department of Corrections employee.

Police are continuing their investigation. They say they are looking for help from anyone who might have purchased anything from Romeo or Netto.
