Two Auto Dealer Workers Accused Of Stealing From Employer, Customers

Two former workers at an auto dealership are accused of stealing money from their employer and numerous customers.

State police arrested Robert Griswold and his wife, Jessica Mozo, both of 393 Johnson Road in Parish in Oswego County.

The couple is charged with second-degree grand larceny, first-degree scheme to defraud and first-degree falsifying business records. .

Griswold and Mozo were employees of Andrews Auto in Mexico in Oswego County.

According to police, from May of 2011 through October of 2011, they defrauded and stole money from the owner of Andrews Auto and numerous customers.
 
Griswold and Mozo were arraigned in Sandy Creek Town Court and ordered held in the county jail in lieu of $75,000 cash or $150,000 bond.

Both were ordered to appear in New Haven Town Court on December 8 at 7 p.m.

According to Andrews Auto's web site, the couple was selling cars at the dealership as private contractors.

"The thefts from myself and several unsuspecting defrauded clients have been so extensive that I am effectively out of business, and have had to sell many personal items and reassess everything about our financial position - present and future," the owner wrote on his site.

According to the site, the dealership has been in business for 25 years.
