Two Suspected Drug Dealers Arrested In AdamsAuthorities arrested two suspected drug dealers Friday during a bust at an Adams apartment building. According to state police, an investigation into the sale of cocaine and heroin led law enforcement officials to Sheffield Apartments.
Police said the drug bust followed an investigation into a November 2011 incident at the McDonald's restaurant in Adams. Two Bronx men were arrested for allegedly abandoning duffle bags containing drugs, a loaded handgun and cash at the restaurant. According to police, the bags contained an unregistered loaded handgun, 21 bundles of heroin, oxycodone, codeine, marijuana and about $6,000 in cash. Police said Friday that their investigation showed that those drugs were being sold from Leonard's apartment. Officials said more arrests are expected. Most Popular |
