The USO Fort Drum teamed up with the north country community Sunday to stuff a truck with donations for our troops.
USO Volunteer gathered at the Sam's Club in Watertown for the Stuff-A-Truck event.
Shoppers donated hot dogs, buns, and all kinds of snacks for the more than 5,000 soldiers who come through the USO center on post each month.
The USO says it was looking for anything that helps soldiers feel at home.
"Things that provide a touch of home for our troops on an everyday basis - They're simple every day items that might not mean much to most people, but for the troops, they are the comforts of home," explained Rachel Millios.
The USO Fort Drum also received quite a few cash donations.
Volunteers say every little bit is appreciated.
