A unusual type of two-car crash damaged a utility pole and stopped traffic on Huntington Street in Watertown Monday morning.

Police say a GMC Sierra was towing a trailer loaded with a car.

Shortly after the driver turned onto Huntington Street from Eastern Boulevard, the car slid off the trailer and struck the utility pole.

The driver will be ticketed for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

The accident backed up traffic for a time on the city's east side.
