Unusual Bird Still Roosts In LaFargevilleWe have an update on a little pigeon aptly called "Pooh Bird." You may remember we introduced you to the helmet pigeon a few weeks ago. David Swift discovered the bird living in his LaFargeville yard and wanted to know where it came from. Since our report, no one has claimed the bird that experts believe is someone's pet. Swift says while he's enjoying Pooh Bird's company, he's hoping someone else will give it a good home. "If someone would be willing to give this pigeon a good home on a farm where he can get up, be safe away from predators, we would gladly see that he got there," Swift said. Until then, Swift and his wife are feeding Pooh Bird and keeping a close eye on him. |
