Vigil Held For Teen Who Died In Crash; Driver Improves

The driver of the car involved in a deadly crash over the weekend is doing better.

Officials at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse say 19 year old Gaige Knapp has been upgraded from critical condition to fair condition.

Meanwhile, people came together in the village of Adams Monday night to remember the teenager who died in that crash.

Hundreds gathered in the Adams field Monday night for a candlelight vigil to remember 17 year old Trevor Robinson, who is pictured above.

At South Jefferson school Tuesday, students were expressing their condolences in cards and putting them in a box in front of Robinson's locker.

Robinson died at the scene of the single-car crash Saturday night.

He was a passenger in a Chevrolet Corvette Knapp was driving that was heading south on State Route 289 in the town of Ellisburg.

The car went off the road, struck an embankment and rolled over.

Calling hours for Robinson are Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Piddock Funeral Home in Adams.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
