Today (Friday, October 11) is your last chance if you want to vote in the general election and haven't registered yet.
Mail-in voter registration forms must be postmarked by midnight in order to be registered in time for the November 5 elections.
Forms can be downloaded from www.elections.ny.gov. Those with accounts at the Department of Motor Vehicle can register online.
Those who want to register in person can go to their county's board of elections:
- Jefferson County: 175 Arsenal Street in Watertown (315-785-3027)
- St. Lawrence County: 48 Court Street in Canton (315-379-2202)
- Lewis County: 7660 North State Street in Lowville (315-376-5329)
People who have moved to a new county must re-register with
their new address.
Those who are registered and have moved to a new address in the same county should notify their county board of elections in writing of their move by October 16.
