It will be a chilly day in the north country, but Thursday is looking much better.

Wednesday's temperatures started out in the 40s and aren't likely to climb much. Highs are expected to be in the upper-40s. It will be windy, rainy and drizzly all day.

The temperatures will dip into the 20s overnight and skies will clear. Thursday should be sunny, with highs in the mid-50s.

Friday will be in the 60s with mostly cloudy skies and a 50 percent chance of rain.

Saturday will be in the 50s under cloudy skies and a 50 percent chance of rain.
