Friday will be sunny and cooler than normal, but temperatures over the next several days should make up for it.

Friday was off to a brisk start, with temperatures within a few degrees both sides of 50. It will be sunny with highs in the low- to mid-70s.

The temperatures jump about 10 degrees for Saturday. The day will start out mostly cloudy, then clear off by afternoon and end up mostly sunny. It will be hot and humid, but no rain is expected.

Showers, though, are likely Sunday, when highs will be in the upper-70s.

There's a slight chance of rain on Monday. It will be partly sunny, with highs in the low- to mid-80s.

Tuesday will be partly sunny with a 50 percent chance of rain and highs in the low- to mid-80s.
