The Antique Boat Museum in Clayton is open for the year.
"We're excited to have started the boating season here on the St. Lawrence River," said Michael Folsom, the museum's spokesman.
Along with boats on display inside the museum, there are boats in the water, and rides are available.
One of the people fielding visitor questions is Mike Corrigan, a boat builder and conservation expert.
"People coming through, asking questions - they're really interested in what goes on here, they haven't thought about what goes into building a wooden boat," he said.
