If you got a chocolate bunny from the Croghan Candy Kitchen in your Easter basket this year, you can thank the diligence of owner Jeff Roose.
Roose has been laboring for the last six weeks to prepare Easter candies.
"We've made bunnies since the day after Valentine's Day," he said. "We don't stop - we pour anywhere from 50 to 75 a day and then they have to be wrapped and ribboned, put out on the shelf."
He notes Christmas is the busiest holiday for the Candy Kitchen, followed by Easter and then Valentine's Day.
