The likely next city manager in Watertown is Sharon Addison of Severn, Maryland.
She has north country ties, including relatives and a home in the area.
According to the city council agendareleased early Friday afternoon, lawmakers will be asked to vote on approving Addision for the job.
Addison's two year contract would begin July 16.
The resolution states she would be paid $120,000 annually.
7 News has been told Addison has a summer home on the water, attended a north country college and has relatives in the area.
Addison will replace city manager Mary Corriveau, who retired after her contract was not renewed.
Mayor Jeff Graham says the city council will meet at 9 a.m. Saturday.
Officials plan to introduce the new manager and approve the resolution to hire her.
According to the resolution, Addison would be reimbursed for $7,500 worth of moving expenses from Severn, Maryland.
Lawmakers had narrowed the field from 37 applicants to four finalists.
