Watertown Man Accused Of Sexual Abuse

A Watertown man is accused of sexually abusing a nine year old girl.

City police arrested 32 year old Gurpreet Singh of 207 Wealtha Avenue, Apartment 654 B.

He's charged with a felony count of first-degree sexual abuse.

Additional charges are pending grand jury action.

Singh allegedly molested the girl at a home in the city sometime between January and March.

According to police, Singh confessed to molesting the girl once.

Police said Singh knew the girl and that she said he sexually abused her on multiple occasions.

Singh was arrested and arraigned Friday night.

He was released the next day from the Jefferson County Jail after $15,000 bail was posted.
