Watertown Man Sentenced On Drug Charges

A 35 year old Watertown man is going to prison on drug charges.

Antoine Wells was arrested on October 2013 after police seized $11,000 worth of crack cocaine at his 232 West Main Street home.

Officials said they found 50 grams of crack cocaine, which were packaged for sale, as well as $961 in cash.

Wells was charged with a felony count of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

In March, He pleaded guilty to attempted third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

On Monday, Wells was sentenced in Jefferson County Court to 3 1/2 years in prison and 2 1/2 years probation.
