One of the most iconic bands of the 1960s will be in Syracuse Saturday - The Rascals.

A Watertown native is backing them up on bass.

Mark Prentice is on tour with the group, which is known for hits like "Good Lovin'" and "People Got To Be Free."

Prentice grew up in Watertown, but now lives in Nashville, Tennessee where he has made a name for himself as an elite pro musician.

The Rascals' show at the Landmark Theater will give fans new and old a chance to see rock and roll royalty first hand.

"They're gonna see really powerful rock band by any measure and they're also gonna learn a whole lot about the story of this group," said Prentice.

Saturday's show is set for 8 pm at the Landmark Theater in Syracuse.

Tickets are available at rascalsdream.com.
