Wednesday: Two Soldiers From 10th Killed
The bomb exploded near their vehicle in Kandahar, Afghanistan. 208 U.S. soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan so far this year, according to the web site www.icasualties.org. More than half of the deaths in 2010 suffered by coalition forces (the U.S. and allies) are the result of roadside bombs. Commander of the 1st BCT Colonel William Burleson said that his greatest hope was to bring home all of his soldiers alive after their hard work and taking care of eachother every day. Colonel Burleson spoke with 7 News before this incident occurred.

Two soldiers from the 10th Mountain Division were killed Monday by an improvised explosive device ( roadside bomb), the military announced Wednesday.
Staff Sgt. Cabacoy joined the Army in March 2000 and arrived at Fort Drum in October, 2009. He was previously deployed to Iraq from January 2004 to January 2005.
