What's Cooking For Bravo Italiano Festival

Volunteers are hard at work getting ready for the 29th Bravo Italiano Festival.

The event, which celebrates Watertown's Italian heritage, will start on Friday at the Fairgrounds Arena.

The festival will feature plenty of entertainment, the Miss Italia Pageant, and, of course, a lot of food.

Workers have already made 250 pounds of cookies and 2,000 meatballs.

"It's just remembering our heritage and all the old timers because my mother and my grandmother used to do this and I'm taking over for them," said Toni Manarina, who's making meatballs.

Workers still need to make sauce, sausage, chicken parmesan and other Italian foods.
