Woman Accused In Animal Cruelty Case

A town of Lisbon woman is accused of animal cruelty for her alleged treatment of two pigs.

The St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Department said it investigated a complaint at Aleaha Hollis' property on Forsythe Road.

Deputies said they found Hollis' pigs were unhealthy and malnourished.

Hollis was charged with a misdemeanor count of failure to provide proper sustenance.

She was issued a ticket to appear in court at a later date.
