A Port Leyden woman is in trouble for allegedly nearly hitting two children when she drove her vehicle too fast through a neighbor's yard.

Lewis County sheriff's deputies say 35 year old Erin Butzer narrowly missed striking the children when she drove through her next-door neighbor's driveway and yard at a high rate of speed.

She was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
