Woman Charged With Prostitution In Town of Watertown

A Keeseville, N.Y. woman was charged with prostitution and falsely reporting an incident after she allegedly called police claiming someone had raped her and was chasing her with a gun.

Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies say 26 year old Ashley Baker was arrested following an alleged incident at the Relax Inn on Route 11 in the town of Watertown.

Meanwhile, 30 year old Kirk Guyette, who lives at the Relax Inn, was charged with patronizing a prostitute for allegedly paying Baker $300 for sex.

Baker was arraigned and sent to jail on $1,000 bail.

Guyette, who was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, was released to appear in town of Watertown court at a later date.
