Woman Charged With Trying To Smuggle Drugs To Jail InmateA Chase Mills woman was charged with attempting to smuggle drugs into the St. Lawrence County jail. Sheriff deputies say 41 year old Angela Swinyer allegedly tried to sneak a narcotic drug into the jail and pass it to an inmate during a visit. Swinyer was charged with first degree promoting prison contraband and third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, both felonies. She was arraigned in Canton village court and released to the supervision of the probation department. Most Popular |
