A Lowville woman says she has big plans for a run-down building in Mannsville.
Some Mannsville residents feel the old Huggins & Bettinger building should be torn down.
However, Rose McKenna-Davis says she's in the process of acquiring the building.
Her plan calls not for demolition, but restoration.
"A lot of the work I can do myself. I do have a stone mason and bricklayer that told me that this building can be saved. It can be restored," said McKenna Davis.
McKenna-Davis describes herself as a former preservation contractor.
She said she hopes to get funding from a National Grid preservation program to make the building into commercial space and apartments.
