A Copenhagen man had a surprise waiting for him when he tried to leave for work early Friday morning.

Lewis County Sheriff's deputies say a Cataract Street resident was surprised to see a strange car in his driveway as he was leaving for work at 3:30 a.m.

When deputies arrived, they found 28 year old Jessica Caplicki of Pamelia asleep in the driver's seat.

Police say Caplicki had a blood alcohol content of .16 percent, twice the legal limit.

She was charged with driving while intoxicated and released to appear in town of Denmark court at a later date.
