Worker Accused Of Stealing Cash, Boxer Shorts From Mall Store

An employee at the Salmon Run Mall is accused of stealing cash, boxer shorts and other items from the store where he worked.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department arrested 21 year old Jonathan Kruger of 25502 Route 180 in Dexter.

Officials said he stole $372 worth of cash and merchandise from Hollister, where he worked.

According to investigators, Kruger skimmed the till on his register over the course of the last year for $290.

Officials said he confessed to stealing $82 worth of boxer shorts, fragrance and a necklace.

Kruger was charged with petit larceny and released to appear in Watertown Town Court on May 17.
