Worker Identified In Fatal Construction Accident

State police have identified the man who was killed Monday afternoon at a construction site for a well-known auto dealership. 

The victim is 23 year old Kyle Brown of 3926 East Road in Turin.

The accident happened at around 2 p.m. at the F.X. Caprara construction site along State Route 13 in the Oswego County village of Pulaski.

State police said Brown was in the process of installing metal roofing on the new building, approximately 24 feet off the ground, when a gust of wind blew him and a piece of the roofing off of the roof structure. 

Brown was transported to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. 

At approximately 5:15 p.m., Brown was pronounced dead from the injuries he had sustained in the fall. 

Brown worked for MTL Design in Watertown.

The federal Office of Safety & Health Administration has been called in to investigate the accident.
