Youngsters Get Creative In Chaumont

Painting, coloring and ornament making.

Throughout the morning Wednesday, kids from the Lyme School District popped in and out of the Copley House in Chaumont to do arts and crafts.

The event was put on by the Lyme Community Foundation.

The children got to take their decorations home with them.

"It's not just coming here and doing something and just going home empty-handed," said Pat Guldenpfennig of the Lyme Community Foundation.

This is the second year the foundation has put on this event.

Organizers hope to continue it every year.
