Your Turn: Fatal Accident Near Antwerp & Severe Weather

Many of you had a lot to say after six people were killed in a tragic multi-vehicle accident near Antwerp last week. Police say the driver of the tractor-trailer that plowed into the line of cars didn't appear to be impaired or distracted at the time of the crash.

Such a tragedy, prayers go out to all those who are grieving.

Prayers for all involved. I hope to never have to endure the guilt that man will live with for the rest of his life. We are human. Accidents happen. Could have been anyone. I am sure he would take it back if he could.

The truck driver definitely didn't purposefully or intentionally kill these people, but he did kill them due to his actions, so he should be charged with involuntary manslaughter. If he doesn't get charged, then what reason does any driver have to be careful or attentive? His actions need to have consequences.

A state of emergency was declared in St. Lawrence County in the wake of a devastating thunderstorm that swept through the Potsdam area Tuesday. We asked you to share your stories:

At the end of the Miner Street Road in Canton, major trees down in the path of the wind/storm/microburst...whatever it may have been, it was POWERFUL!

That was the most brutal storm experience I have been through since the summer t'storm that ripped through Central New York and canceled the last day of the New York State Fair in 1998.
