It has been a year since New York's controversial gun law was adopted.  But, the state says it isn't ready to handle the new ammunition rules which are set go into effect:

The state will pay the salary of Watertown's second full-time city judge. But, when it comes to paying for where that judge will sit, that's another matter.  The city says it could cost $1 million to build a second courtroom:


I really do understand the need for another court room, but I don't believe that the taxpayers should have to foot the bill without a referendum.
