If you're traveling in an electric car, you'll need an electric vehicle charging station.  National Grid has won a state grant to set up charging stations and is looking at Watertown for at least one of them:

 

I have wanted to purchase a Nissan Leaf but cannot because there are no charging stations anywhere in the area. If you build it, they will come!
