The lab employee responsible for the botched blood transfusion at E.J. Noble in Gouverneur was allowed to stay on the job. The worker is even helping with the hospital's correction plan:

 

The worker should at least be suspended pending an independent investigation.

St. Lawrence County's proposed budget is calling for a property tax hike of close to 20 percent:

Dr. Dirty brought his act to Watertown.  But Councilwoman Roxanne Burns didn't think the raunchy comedian belonged at the fairgrounds:

 

Burns...was charged with aggravated DWI and leaving the scene of an accident.  Dirty language...does not put people's lives in jeopardy. The councilwoman needs to reevaluate her priorities.
