President Obama wants an increase in the minimum hourly wage from the current $7.25 to $9 by the end of 2015. We asked for your thoughts on that:

As a small business owner, I do think minimum wage should be raised for those of 21 years of age or older. Hopefully this will get more adults off their butts to get back to work.

Should past DWI's be taken into account when sentencing someone for boating while intoxicated? Right now they are not, but a proposed law would change that. Tiffany's Law is named after a Syracuse girl who was killed by a drunk boater:

 

Drinking and driving is drinking and driving no matter if it's a car, boat or lawn mower!

This bill looks good on paper and it means well, but it will not stop drinking and driving or save lives!
