The deaths of a 7-month-old child in Gouverneur and three other infants across the country prompted the massive recall of Stork Craft cribs across the nation.  Meanwhile, a Watertown woman says a crib that is not part of the national recall came dangerously close to killing her one year old son. She wants the crib made by Dorel Asia added to the list of those banned.

Since the story broke about the crib recall, I have been concerned about the brand I have purchased too. The cribs are way too rickety.  I think that ALL cribs should be recalled and replaced with cribs without a drop side. I'm replacing mine and not waiting for a recall. I urge others as well not to wait.
