Alcoa is reopening the East plant in Massena, which means about 120 new jobs for the community:

What a great day for Alcoa employees, Massena and northern New York. We would like to thank everyone who made this possible.

Randy Dox

I am a former Massena GM employee. I have not been able to find anything permanent since August 2009...Hopefully I will get a chance to go back to work.

Derek Gladding

Watertown lawmakers opted against naming this road for Mayor Jeff Graham. They decided instead to call it Line Drive:

This...should be named for someone who has played a key role in the success of our beautiful fairgrounds.

Christine Sharlow

How about Red and Black Drive in honor of the Watertown Red and Black football team?

Ed Klepacz

Plenty of folks have a dollar and a dream.  You told us what you'd do if you won last week's Mega Millions jackpot:

I would look into renovating some buildings in the city for affordable apartments, donate money to several charities, and maybe help out some of the families who have been affected by recent layoffs in the area.

Tracy Morse

I would have offered Rick DeFranco a million dollars to stay in Watertown instead of moving to Montana.
