Governor Andrew Cuomo was officially sworn into office Saturday. Now, he's rolling up his sleeves to tackle some major challenges facing New York State:

The price of getting a dog license is going up. The process is now in the hands of local municipalities instead of the state:

I would rather pay a bit more for the license and have the money stay locally than go to the state which is already getting enough of our hard earned dollars.

We need the snow for several reasons. Farmers need it to protect the hay and the maple trees need it to make sap to make syrup. Plus people like me want it to ride snowmobiles.
