The price of gas is over $4 a gallon, but demand remains steady. So we asked - is $4 for gas the new normal:

I pity people who have a long commute. Hopefully, four dollars a gallon for gasoline won't be the "new normal."

People in Watertown may soon be paying more for trash pick-up. An increase of fifty cents per bag is in the proposed budget:

 

Some people can't afford this increase.  I...am on a fixed income and the price of everything going up hurts.

You can take it to the county landfill and pay by weight and it's ridiculously cheap. A little extra time but a lot of savings.
