Your Turn: Your Feedback On Leandra's Law, Wood Burning Vehicle & Speedway Volunteers

We begin with your feedback on Leandra's Law. We learned that the tough new drunk driving measure may not always end with a prison sentence:

Until they start handing down punishment that truly "hurts" the offender, there is no deterrent. This crime should not be plea bargained.

Jim Lucas

Until proper punishment is given for these offenses, many more innocent people will continue to be killed.

John Green

A student at a Syracuse college visited the north country to demonstrate how wood can be burned to power a vehicle:

With all the complaints of brush burning, wood boilers and wood stoves causing too much harm to the environment, how is fueling a vehicle with wood a good thing?

John Hackett

Surprised the Liberal utopia which is this state of New York would allow such a thing.  I wonder how this is gonna be received by our environmentalist overlords.

Joseph Bonaparte

Gasification is far from new. It was pretty widely used in Europe during WWII.

Charles Reay

Volunteers helped clean up Chapman's Can-Am Motorsports Park after a powerful storm destroyed the speedway last week:

We are a community that sticks together no matter what. This is our life - races every week.  It will be back and better in no time.

Bonnie Jaques

What an awesome way to show support. Volunteering in our community is what holds us together.

Linda Welsh

Racers and their fans are a special close knit group of people.

Debbie Aubertine

Two thumbs up for all the volunteers and the owner.
