The New York Power Authority, formed to save taxpayers money on electric rates, is being accused of overspending. A recent audit found that over a third of NYPA workers make more than $100,000 a year and have access to a private airplane with pilots, an aviation director and a travel manager:
I can't understand how and why these people have gotten away with this for as long as they have. Thank goodness for the auditor.
If the scores shouldn't generate concern, then why bother with them? Waste of time and money.
Samaritan's explanation for the layoffs fails to explain what the overall savings achieved with less extensive stays in hospitals will be to the health care system as a whole and that is important to know.
