Your Turn: Your Feedback On Obama Visit, Vandalism & Tenant Mess

During last week's visit to Syracuse, President Obama pitched his plan to make college more affordable for millions of Americans and colleges more accountable for the education they deliver:

The colleges and universities should keep their costs affordable. Do you really get $30,000 dollars worth of education per semester?  I think not.

Obama continues to write checks with his mouth that have to be cashed on the backs of those of us who work and pay taxes.

Vandals struck St. Mary's Church in Waddington last week damaging a statue of the Virgin Mary. The five foot statue was knocked off its foundation breaking the head off:

It's a pretty sad state of affairs when someone has nothing better to do than vandalize.

When caught, they need to pay for the repairs and perhaps mow the cemeteries with a push mower.

Most of your feedback this week is about a tenant who caused $25,000 worth of damage to a Watertown apartment. There was writing all over the walls. The radiator was ripped off and dry wall was gone. The tenant, who's long gone, was a Department of Social Services client and had a history of doing this type of thing. But, DSS says it wasn't allowed to tell the landlord about it:

I understand DSS is there to help folks when they need it, but they knew his track record and continued to help.  That is wrong! I believe DSS should get the bill for these repairs.

If DSS has to foot this bill, WE THE PEOPLE will be paying a second time for this person.
