Mikel Odle, who pleaded guilty to murder and attempted murder charges, was sentenced to 37 years in prison. In May 2011 in Cape Vincent, he stabbed Mary Burkman to death and then inflicted numerous stab wounds on her daughter, Amber Englehart:

 

That's not long enough. He should be there for life.
