Your Turn: Your Feedback On Vouchers, Big M & Vora


Due to sequester, the state is freezing so-called Housing Choice Vouchers which help people pay rent.  That means more than 1,000 people waiting to get vouchers in Jefferson and Lewis counties will be left to fend for themselves:


Why don't these people move to where they can afford to live? It would be less of a drain on this area.

It's the end of an era for the Big M grocery stores in Watertown, Adams, Sandy Creek and Boonville. The stores closed their doors last week and officially became Tops Friendly Markets:


I really liked Big M, especially their meats. I'm bummed.

A Lowville physician has conquered the highest mountain in the world.  Dr. Manoj Vora climbed to the summit of Mount Everest last Wednesday:
