Gerald James Hodge, 66,  LeRay St. Apts., died Sunday afternoon at his home.

Mr. Hodge was a core maker at Black Clawson for several years until becoming permanently disabled in 1977.

He was born June 18, 1943 in Watertown, a son of Gerald W. and Mary LaLonde Hodge. 

He was educated in Watertown schools.  Mr. Hodge was a member of the Naval Reserves for 6 months. 

He was a member of the LeRay St. Apts Tenants Association.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and NASCAR.

He is survived by his mother Mary Hodge, Watertown.  Three sons and two daughters.  One brother and sister-in-law, David and Candace Hodge, a sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Mark Kellar, all of Dexter.  Many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Thursday 11am at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Richard Kennedy, officiating.  Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery. 

Calling hours are Wednesday from 6 pm – 8 pm at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home.
